I've used this product for quite some time. Not only will they do in a pinch at home, but they are great to take camping for a tasty treat. No refrig. required and take up little space in the food storage locker. I usually jazz them up some by dicing up bell peppers and chuncks of onion and sometimes add bacon bits to them for added taste.

These are really quite good and simple to make. Water and a bit of oil in a pain, cook until the water is all gone and turn up the heat to brown. Less then 10 minutes and you are done. The potatoes are pretty natural tasting considering they are freeze dried. The flavor of the spices included is very good. You could probably easily do the same thing by cutting your own potato slices and adding some garlic and seasonings, but these are good if you are in a hurry .

These are excellent. Since they have cheese in them which adds a lot of taste, I've found if you don't have milk that they taste quite good just made with straight water instead of the water/milk mix called for on the side of the box. Also, since the cheese sauce is rich enough, you can cook up some fresh potatoes and add them to stretch the number of servings and not compromise the flavour of the dish much. Kind of depends if you are looking for something to cook really fast for supper or if you want more servings and are willing to spend a little more time doing it and save some money per serving. You can do both with this product and get good results either way.



You won't be disappointed with these, in any case. Excellent as a stock up item for the pantry.

I admit it. I love brownies from a box. There.



Generally speaking, I cook from scratch, but brownie mix, I like. Honestly, I like these as well as homemade, and there's no mess. These are a little stingy with the nuts, but otherwise delicious, easy & cheap. I use melted butter instead of oil & my other favorite way to eat them is to bake them for 10 minute less than recommended and serve the hot half-baked goo with ice cream.

It's Hamburger Helper. What can you say? You either like it or you don't. We do. It's not exactly like homemade, but for a quick meal when you're in a hurry, it's okay. The Hamburger Helper meal sizes are continuing to shrink. These are a measly 6.6 ounces; about enough for one hungry person or two mildly hungry ones. I add a few extras--about 4 ounces of dry spaghetti noodles, a cup of additional water, some tomatoes and/or other veggies, to make a bigger meal. Also, I quite often use ground Italian sausage, instead of hamburger, very tasty! I look for these meals on sale, because at full price, they are just too expensive for what you get. Hope this helps!

A friend of mine used to eat this as a kid (once he tried it, he never ate regular spaghetti again) until they stopped selling it. He found it recently in a store where he lives now, and I got to try it. Fantastic!



That store is gone now, and none of the others carried it. We even tried special order from one store. They emailed back saying it wasn't in thier everyday catalog or through a special order catalog. They knew it was still made, but were unable to get it for us.



Got the amazon box fast, in good condition, and plenty of time to finish off all 12 boxes before expiration date.

If you like Bacos, you cannot beat the price on this. Expiration dates are only within a couple of months of when you receive the product. (Ordered 2X now--same thing) However, because these are a salty, prepared product, they last longer than the expiration dates anyway.

Hello there:

I am, as a lot of people here, a bacon lover, and sometime ago i read about Bacon Salt and wonder about buying it, also, in another review someone recommended BacOs over it, and until then i have never tried a replacement of bacon of any kind.



So last week arrived the box both products and regarding BacOs i would say the following.



The quantity of the package is a plus, is very nice receiving 6 big shakers. The issue is that is difficult to find place to drop the bacos on, the "default" is within a salad but from there so far i hadn't chance to try different.

The flavor is moderately good and its crunchy like a cereal, (i would rather have it a bit less crunchy), overall the product is not very impressive, is just OK.



My final rating is a 3 stars, as always, beware that YMMV

And finally comparing to Bacon salt, Bacon salt wins hands down

I've used this product for quite some time. Not only will they do in a pinch at home, but they are great to take camping for a tasty treat. No refrig. required and take up little space in the food storage locker. I usually jazz them up some by dicing up bell peppers and chuncks of onion and sometimes add bacon bits to them for added taste.

These are really quite good and simple to make. Water and a bit of oil in a pain, cook until the water is all gone and turn up the heat to brown. Less then 10 minutes and you are done. The potatoes are pretty natural tasting considering they are freeze dried. The flavor of the spices included is very good. You could probably easily do the same thing by cutting your own potato slices and adding some garlic and seasonings, but these are good if you are in a hurry .

I admit it. I love brownies from a box. There.



Generally speaking, I cook from scratch, but brownie mix, I like. Honestly, I like these as well as homemade, and there's no mess. These are a little stingy with the nuts, but otherwise delicious, easy & cheap. I use melted butter instead of oil & my other favorite way to eat them is to bake them for 10 minute less than recommended and serve the hot half-baked goo with ice cream.
