Made my cappuccino & my husband's black espresso: no pleasing flavor, in fact unpleasant flavor. Tried again, to be certain. Not good! Mailed entire bag back at my expense, as no answer via phone on Friday evening & wanted to get it over and done with. Received call a few days later from a rude and insulted rep. who chastised me for returning without authorizarion. The policy is no returns on coffee. Refused me a credit or even in-house credit. I let my platinum credit card handle it, the seller has the coffee beans and my money!

No need for a detailed review, these beans make great espresso. I have a Gaggia Classic espresso maker and a Krups burr grinder to grind the beans, and this trio (Lavazza Super Crema Beans + machine + grinder) makes fantastic espresso every time. The crema is perfect, there is not the slightest hint of bitterness. My only warning about these beans is that if you own an espresso maker at home, you should be real careful buying these beans as you may find yourself going crazy making espressos. These beans consistently make an espresso that is as good or better than anything I've found commercially in the US (and I'm not going to rant about the coffee beverage that Starbucks sells as espresso and puts in a paper cup). This bag of espresso beans is definitely more expensive than what you can find in the grocery store (or elsewhere), but this is a case of you get what you pay for. If you like espresso, this is money well spent.

Being a long time consumer of Lavazza Creama E Gusto which I find most enjoyable, I thought I'd give Super Creama a try.Very disapointing on flavor and fullness. For a latte I find it necessary to double the quantity in the basket and cut the milk by 80-90% so instead of a 10 oz

double, it's a single shot expresso with a dash of milk. The bean is a medium brown in color that is reflected in it's charater. Back to "Creama E Gusto"

I bought a high End Gaggio Espresso machine for my wife for a special occasion last year. While searching around for espresso beans I couldn't find any that reminded me of Italy. Finding the Lavazza Super Crema was the best. Especially in the 2.2lbs bag. So you know we go through a bag in 45 to 60 days. I've given up drinking regular coffee and now either go Espresso or Cafe American.



I would recommend this Espresso to anyone who would enjoy a smooth, and aromatic blend and the Crema is the best. Buon bere.

The item is as described by the opinions of the other reviewers. A more major issue is that Amazon ships it via the US Postal Service which can take (an already shelved product) 3 -7 days to arrive. Hey, this is coffee, and it only has a limited life to live. Taking into account that it's a large bag for home use we still must keep it allive for a few more weeks till were done with it. It's been 5 days since they shipped it, but I still don't have it and now I wonder how old it will become when it finally arrives. Amazon needs to use an alternate shipping methode

It is a really good coffee for the money, but it is lightly roasted for espresso. The aroma is really nice, but has little flavour and body. That is why I am giving only three stars for a coffee that is actually good, because it is not the best for espresso by far, do not try cappuccino or even macchiato. Also the Super Crema name might be misleading, the amount of crema is just about the same than other brands. This is not a problem since you do not really need an ultra thick layer of crema, it makes a fair amount of crema just like any other fine beans.

I really like Lavazza coffees in general. Recently I tried the Super Crema since the reviews were really strong.



The taste of this espresso is very much as described. It is robust in flavor with a bit of a sweet taste and is very smooth, not bitter at all. It works especially well with Lattes. Can't say that I notice an extraordinary crema, but does make a notable amount of crema.



Overall, again, Lavazza Super Crema demonstrated to me that it is worthy of my previous assessment of the Lavazza brand in general that it represents the best in class of espressos. Super Crema is distinctly different from Oro and Blue, and like the others is smooth.

I initially bought this coffee to use for cappuccino/espresso, however, it is just great as a regular cup of coffee! Very smooth taste, low acidity, overall nice medium balance, not too heavy and not too light. I really like the 2.2 LB bag size, as my husband and I go through coffee like it's water. Will most likely be purchasing more of this one from Amazon.com. I'm looking forward to making my first cup of cappuccino and espresso with this brand. This is the 3rd type of Lavazza coffee I have tried and have loved every one. They each have their own notable characteristic and this one is no exception. It is so creamy and round that it reminds me of black velvet. Yet, it has just the tinge of a bite to it to make it interesting and stand apart from the others. A definite winner for us. This was my fourth, and absolutely the best! This has no bitterness. It is rich like a smooth, dark, hot chocolate. I would recommend this coffee over ANY other Lavazza! I order 4 bricks a month through the subscribe & save, and as an Amazon Prime customer I pay no shipping cost and receive my coffee within two days - usually overnight!

I noticed some reviewers calling this weak - but they are just used to strong coffee meaning bitter coffee. This is not the case in quality coffee. If you want a smooth espresso, even a bit sweet, you will enjoy this. A+++++

I just got the package. First of all, the price is excellent comparing with local food stores. I would say an easy 20-30% saving and you don't have to drive to a store. I quickly made two shots with my Delonghi full automatic. Everything is great. The only thing is that I can use a bit stronger taste - just a little bit more. I will try another type next after I finish this package. I won't buy from local store anymore.

I use these coffee beans in a Saeco Vienna Automatic Espresso machine. They produce a cup of espresso or as it is known in Italy "cafe americano" that has a cream on top, full flavored but never bitter. The Amazon price is unbeatable if you sign up for regular delivery
