This bar gets smaller and smaller and smaller; it's almost a joke.



It would be interesting to see the OZ per bar when they first marketed compared to now. They do a great job of hiding the product size and making it seem insignificant.



Strategy: Make a great tasting bar. Get people loyal with special pricing on the boxes of bars in the grocery stores. Then, shrink the size, one step at a time, while keeping price the same. Most won't notice. We certainly did.



Very disappointed, will not buy this bar or any other Nature Valley products in the future due to this deception.

I love these bars and find them an ideal snack. However, the quality from what I have been receiving from Amazon is not the best. The bars almost appear melted and then solidified again. Sometimes there are pieces broken off. This is all really more of an appearance issue. The flavor is still fine, but it does make me wonder why they are received in this condition. Right now, I can buy them cheaper at a local store and I will do that as long as the price is lower. If the quality was equal to that of my local store, I would still order through Amazon for the convenience.

One thing that annoys me is hearing someone eat while I'm nearby studying. These are wonderful in so many ways, and they are quiet. I'm Vegan so buying food on campus means I get to eat an apple--I don't like apples. These however are very good and easy to throw a few in my book bag. They taste just as good smashed as they do when in form. I suggest packing a bottle of water along with them. enjoy!

Like all granola bars this one contains a great mix of grains (including oats and rice) and nut flours, and is flavored with a great mix of nuts - peanuts, cashews and almonds.



The Nature Valley Sweet & Salty Bars - Roasted Mixed Nut come one to a package and are delicious. Each bar contains 160 calories (70 calories from fat) and 21g of carbohydrates. So, this isn't diet food, but it is a great snack for people needing a quick and convenient pick-me-up, or can be combined with fruit for a quick and delicious breakfast. My family and I highly recommend this great snack!

The beauty of store bought prepackaged granola bars is that they are convenient and are usually non-sticky/messy compared to homemade ones.



Nature Valley has always made some excellent bars that did not melt into a soggy mess when stashed in the car or brought on extended roadtrips/hikes/camping in the warmer months. However, this new line of bars from Nature Valley features a sweet peanut coating similar to the yoghurt coating pretzles are dipped in. This coating is quite sweet and melts in the heat.



I would not reccomend particular Nature Valley line for outdoor activities in the warmer months, but would not hesistate to for the winter months.



It is also a great treat to get kids off candy bars and into healthier granola bars as the sweet coating is quite peanuty and sweet enough. The bar itself does contain crisped rice that their original crunchy line does not, but it is still a vast improvement healthwise over other more common snack bars available.
